Participants are asked to make a donation, and all donations will go to Interfaith Dallas, which provides homeless families with temporary furnished apartments, education in practical skills, and guidance while they search for jobs and permanent housing. You’ll leave this class feeling fulfilled in both body and soul!

Dallas Hip-Hop Dance Festival
July 29 – 30, Majestic Theater
Back for its fifth year, the Dallas Hip-Hop Dance Festival is bigger than ever. This event is open to hip-hop dancers, studios, companies, and crews of all ages. Classes, performances, a battle, and more will “not only educate, inspire, and enrich the DFW dance community, but…also nurture, encourage emerging artists, and contribute to the evolution of both hip-hop and dance.” 2016 faculty members include Jayson Wright, Eddie Morales, Kenya Clay, and Hollywood.

Dallas’s Biggest Backyard Party
July 30, Reunion Tower Lawn
You won’t want to miss this one! Texas Motor Speedway takes over the Reunion Tower Lawn for this month’s big summer bash. The best food trucks and craft beer in DFW will be there, along with former Voice contestant Hannah Kirby, a DJ, and local favorite Tinman Band. You can rent lawn games for free, or bring your own. This event will surely be talked about for the rest of the season.
